Manage your devices
See the computers enrolled to your account and revoke one you no longer use.
Each computer you enroll gets its own key, owned by you. You can see those computers and turn any of them off from the dashboard.
Who can do this: Members and Admins can manage their own devices. Admins can also revoke anyone's device key.
See your devices
Go to Settings → My devices. The table lists each computer enrolled to your account:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Device | The computer's name when it was enrolled |
| Key | The start of the device's key, so you can tell keys apart |
| Status | Whether the key is active or revoked |
| Enrolled | When the device was enrolled |
If the list is empty, the page says "No devices yet — run transcript-shipper login on a machine to enroll it." See Install Tokenize on your computer.
Revoke a device
Revoke a device when you replace a laptop, stop using a computer, or think a key was exposed.
- Go to Settings → My devices.
- Find the device and click Revoke.
The device stops sending usage within seconds. It also stops receiving your organization's guidance, policies, MCP servers, and app updates. The app stays installed until someone removes it.
To use that computer again, sign in on it again with transcript-shipper login. That creates a new key. A revoked key can't be turned back on.
Admins: all device keys
Admins can see every device key in the workspace under Settings → API keys. The Owner column shows who each device belongs to, and Revoke turns a key off.
Keys an Admin creates on that page have no owner and show Usage only. Don't use them to set up computers. See Deploy with MDM.
When someone leaves
Tokenize revokes a person's device keys when they're removed from your Tokenize organization. If you use directory sync, it also revokes them when your identity provider deactivates the person. You don't need to revoke each device by hand.
If the person is reactivated later, their old keys stay revoked. They need to enroll their devices again.
