Delete your data
Request deletion of your organization's data or one person's data, and remove a person from Tokenize.
Tokenize deletes data on request, either for your whole organization or for one person. Deletion isn't self-serve in the dashboard. Tokenize runs it for you so it covers every place your data is stored.
Request deletion
Email privacy@tokenizehq.com. Include:
- Your organization name.
- Whether you want the whole organization deleted or one person's data.
- For one person, every email address they used with Tokenize and with their AI tools, if they differ.
Tokenize confirms the scope and timeline with you before starting.
What gets deleted
Usage records, prompt text, session content, and the dashboard data built from them are deleted. Tokenize confirms the scope and timeline with you, including anything that falls outside it. For our data-handling commitments, see the Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.
- When a person shared a session with others, the full content of that session is deleted for everyone on it.
Deleting your whole organization also stops all data collection. Every device and API key stops being accepted.
Data on your computers isn't affected. To remove it, uninstall the desktop app. See Manage devices.
Remove a person
Before you request deletion of one person's data, remove them from Tokenize so no new data arrives. Removing someone stops collection but doesn't delete data Tokenize already has.
If you use directory sync: deactivate the person in your identity provider. Tokenize blocks their sign-in and revokes their device keys. See Set up SSO and directory sync.
If you don't use directory sync:
- Go to Settings → Organization → Members and remove the person. Tokenize revokes the device keys they enrolled.
- If the person had a copy of a usage-only API key, revoke it in Settings → API keys and give others a new one. See Create and revoke API keys.
To revoke one computer without removing the person, see Manage devices.
Then email privacy@tokenizehq.com to request deletion of their data.
