Your free trial
Learn what starts your 14-day Tokenize trial, what you see while it runs, and what happens when it ends.
Every new workspace gets a 14-day free trial. The trial doesn't start when you sign up. It starts when your workspace first has a source of data, so the 14 days are spent looking at real usage.
What starts the trial
Your trial starts the first time someone in your organization does one of these:
- Connects a provider in Settings → Providers with a key that passes Tokenize's access check. See Connect Anthropic and the other provider guides.
- Creates a Cowork OTel key. See Connect with OpenTelemetry.
- Sets up the desktop app for the first time.
The trial runs for 14 days from that moment. It starts once. Connecting more providers later doesn't restart it.
Before the trial starts
Until the trial starts, a banner across the top of the dashboard shows:
- For Admins: "Connect Cowork OTel or a provider to start your 14-day free trial." Click Connect in the banner to go to Settings → Providers.
- For everyone else: "Ask your admin to connect Cowork OTel or a provider to start your 14-day free trial."
While the trial runs
Once it starts, the banner changes to "Your 14-day free trial has started." You have full use of the dashboard for the whole trial. If you don't see a trial banner at all, your workspace isn't on a trial.
When the trial ends
When the 14 days are up, the dashboard pauses. Instead of your usage, you see "Your free trial has ended".
- Admins see a Talk to us button to continue with Tokenize.
- Members see "Ask your admin to continue with Tokenize."
Tokenize keeps syncing your data after the trial ends, so your dashboard is up to date when you continue. If you belong to more than one organization, use the organization switcher on this screen to move to another one.
