See API key spend
Use Platform Usage to see what each Claude Platform, OpenAI Platform, and OpenRouter API key costs.
Platform Usage shows spend on your organization's API keys: keys your products, scripts, and automations use to call AI providers directly. This is separate from what people spend in tools like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
Who can see this: Admins.
Before you start
This page needs at least one platform admin key saved in Settings → Providers:
- Claude Platform, an Anthropic Claude Platform organization Admin API key. See Connect Anthropic.
- OpenAI Platform, an OpenAI organization Admin API key, not a project key. See Connect OpenAI.
- OpenRouter Analytics, an OpenRouter management key. See Connect OpenRouter.
Without one, the page shows "No API key spend". Click Connect providers to add a key.
Stats
Pick a range in the top right: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days.

| API key spend | Total spend across your keys. With more than one provider, the line under it shows each provider's total. |
| Claude billed | The exact amount Anthropic billed your organization. Shown when you have Claude Platform keys. |
| Requests | Request count. Only OpenAI keys report requests, so this shows "—" when you only have Claude keys. |
Keys
Each row is one API key, with API key, Provider, Spend, Requests, and Last used. Keys show Active, or Idle if they haven't been used in the last 7 days. Hover over a key name for its details.
OpenAI reports exact spend for each key. Anthropic reports one billed total for the whole organization, not per key. So for Claude keys, Tokenize estimates each key's spend from its token usage at list price. That's why the Claude billed stat shows "Per-key estimates sum to ≈" underneath: the estimates and the bill can differ.
Claude Code on API keys
If people or services run Claude Code on a Claude Platform key, a Claude Code on API keys table lists each Actor, either an API key or a Person. Spend here is estimated at list price, marked with "≈". Hover over an amount to see Anthropic's own estimate. The line above the table shows what share of the Claude bill these actors account for.
How this relates to the Overview
The Overview shows this same money as API Bill, next to Total Spend. Tokenize never adds the two together, because API key spend usually comes from products and automations, not people. See How cost is calculated.
